Chattanooga Senior Photography | Class of 2013

Sunny Day

Just wanted to share a few images from an equestrian shoot I was thrilled to do recently!

This confident, lovely young lady (Senior Class of 2013) was such a pleasure to photograph.

She and her mom were both extraordinary troopers, during our exhilarating trek around this beautiful Chattanooga horse farm.

Oh, and I must also give a shout out to our horse model, Sunny. He was hilarious at times and made our photoshoot extra fun!

Thank you for allowing me to capture these senior portraits, Miss Molly! You are a treasure!

I have many more lovely images from this session! Will share more later! Think it might have to be a three part series!:)

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,” Phil. 1:6.

Chattanooga Photography | Over the Rainbow

 Skies Are Blue

It was such a pleasure to work with this young Chattanooga couple recently!

With budding careers on the horizon, they needed new portraits made for their business and media pages.

And, as a young married couple, they wanted to capture a few photos of them together for keepsake.

As you can see, the outcome of our images reflect their fun-loving, joyful personalities.

Keep a look out for this bubbling young artist! Her work is sure to be seen around town!

To find out more about her work, go here http://www.art-instincts.com/.

And as for this dashing businessman…well, you can tell by his charism that he stands out right along with her.

Skies are certainly blue for this sweet, young couple!

Chattanooga Senior 2013 | Bikes, Bubbles, and Books

The Perfect Combination for Sentimental Fun

This lovely Senior was so ready for a fun bike mini-photoshoot, and I was totally happy to help!

I loved her choice of the red and blue outfit that coordinated nicely with the hydrangeas.

She loves reading and antiques, so she brought along some old books that fit perfectly into my antique wicker bike basket.

And when we added her grandmother’s treasured quilt and some shimmering bubbles, we had the perfect combination for sentimental fun!

Loved working with you! Hope you enjoy!

Blustery Day | Chattanooga Child Photography

Tra-la-la…Rum-tum-tiddle-um-tum

I love a good children’s book! And The Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh is one of my favorites.

The stories are full of old-fashioned wit and wisdom.

From the humming of the “Slightly rotund, Bear of very little brain, but very generous heart” to the entertaining personality mix of his companions,

the memorable but silly sayings and songs speak of the simplicity and delights of childhood imagination.

Eating sweets, playing with or helping friends, and having birthday parties are the main priorities of these cast of characters,

brought to life years ago by the distinguished storyteller, A.A. Milne (and Christopher Robin).

The images I am sharing today were taken on a very blustery spring day. We had such bursts of wind and sunshine that I worried

we may not have captured the best interaction between this sweet brother and sister pair.

But not so…tra-la-la…we had, as Piglet would say, “many happy returns of the day.” Hope you enjoy!

“Think it over, think it under,” (all quotes) by A.A. Milne.

“What day is it?” asked Pooh. “It’s today,” squeaked Piglet. “My favorite day,” said Pooh.

“Sometimes,” said Pooh, “the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you think.”

“Some people talk to animals. Not many listen though. That’s the problem.”

“The things that make me different are the things that make me.”

“How do you spell love?” asked Piglet. “You don’t spell it…you feel it,” said Pooh.
