Best Friends | Chattanooga Photography

Birthday Wishes Come True

 I was happy to help a young lady fulfill her birthday wishes recently, by photographing her with one of her best friends.

They both love to read, so they brought their favorite books,

and I added a cozy blanket and few other props to create this fun, quirky picnic style photo shoot.

It was such a beautiful spring day, and the location at this beautiful horse farm in Chattanooga was fabulous.

I also did an equestrian shoot and more portraits of the birthday girl (on right), which I can’t wait to feature later in another post.

We had a bunch of fun, and I so enjoyed our time together! Thanks, girls!

 Sweetly Styled

Soft hues of lavender and pink sweetly styled this senior photo session this spring in Chattanooga.

Although it was an unusually hot and muggy spring day, we braved the elements…

shooed away the gnats, battled bronchitis, and still managed to capture these lovely images that display the softer side of this teen beauty.

As a lover of antiques, pink, and anything involving mission work, this young lady has a huge heart and sweet spirit.

Narrowing Down My List

I found a nice list of summer photo suggestions on pinterest, but I needed to simplify.

So I made a list of the top 20 photos I wanted to make sure to capture of my children & family this summer.

More will probably be added, but hopefully I will at least capture these.

The summer seems to go by so quickly, I don’t want to miss too many of these.

Thought I would share them with you, and you might consider doing the same.

Let me know if you post a list on your blog, so I can come take a look!

I am happy to have few already checked off, and here is an example of one of my daughter by my favorite summer blooms.

I love your list, Carol. Some of my most favorite photos come during the summer. I think it must be because I don’t feel rushed and tend to have the camera with me nearly all the time. Those Eyes | Chattanooga Photography

 Under the Pink Umbrella

I got to meet this beauty very briefly, while attending a Folio Love (here) photography workshop this past fall.

I only had a few minutes, but I just had to capture those eyes…aren’t they amazing!

I just couldn’t get close enough when cropping.
